Bangladesh Consular Office Related Support

1. Prepare and commission affidavits or statutory declarations, if also appointed as a Commissioner for Oaths or Notary Public.

2. Assist in completing consular forms (e.g., for Power of Attorney, Dual Nationality, or Police Clearance applications)

3. Certify true copies of documents for consular use (if appointed as a Notary Public).

4. Draft legal documents such as:

  • Power of Attorney for property matters in Bangladesh
  • Declarations for inheritance, marital status, or guardianship
  • Consent letters for minors

5. Guide clients on required documentation for consular services

6. Translate or arrange translations (if qualified) and certify translations as part of an affidavit (with proper credentials).

7. Liaise or assist with document submissions to the Bangladesh Consulate (administrative support only, not legal representation).

8. Advise on Canadian legal requirements for documents being submitted to the consulate (within permitted scope).
